Specialising in AV solutions, exhibitions, permanent installations, and equipment hire, Grand Technix works with sports stadiums, entertainment venues, retail brands, event companies, agencies, stand builders, production companies, associations, local authorities and many more, with the digital transformation every business could be a potential new client. As a New Business Manager, you’ll have the chance to connect with some of the biggest names in the industry while playing a pivotal role in our growth.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll be responsible for driving new business and executing a strategic sales campaign targeting senior decision-makers across diverse industries. This role will see you based at our Bromsgrove office Monday to Friday, whilst also being out in the field meeting clients and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Management:
- Build and maintain a dynamic pipeline of relevant leads.
- Add and update contact details in our CRM system (HubSpot) to ensure accuracy.
- Sales Outreach & Pitches:
- Introduce and present our products and services to potential clients via cold calls, video calls (Teams), and in-person meetings.
- Present tailored LED installation/digital signage solutions for rental or permanent installation at client locations.
- Sales Process Execution:
- Liaise with clients with confidence and guide prospects through the entire sales funnel.
- Develop compelling sales pitches, tailored to each client’s unique requirements.
- Client Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers, including CEOs and managing directors, to secure business partnerships.

The Ideal Candidate
Are you an ambitious sales professional with a passion for AV technologies? We’re looking for someone entrepreneurial, persuasive, and motivated to drive results. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in exhibition or AV sales and possess the technical knowledge to confidently consult clients on cutting-edge solutions like video walls, LED screens, and AV equipment.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within the AV or exhibition industry.
- Exceptional telephone manner with experience in telephone-based sales.
- Strong organisational skills and self-motivation to achieve and exceed targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Resilience and confidence in engaging with senior decision-makers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), and project management tools (Asana is a plus).
- In-depth knowledge of current AV technologies, including video walls and LED equipment.
