For events built around talks, seminars, and presentations, clear visuals and reliable technology are essential. At Mad//North, a major marketing event bringing together industry speakers and audiences, Grand Technix provided the screen infrastructure needed to ensure every presentation was delivered clearly and professionally.

Inside The Warehouse, Grand Technix installed two large-format LED screens to support the event’s main theatre spaces. Each screen measured 7.5m x 3.5m and used 3.9mm pixel pitch LED panels, providing crisp, high-resolution visuals ideal for presentation content, video playback, and speaker-led sessions.

Alongside the LED walls, the system included professional LED processors and signal cabling to ensure stable playback and smooth switching between presentation sources throughout the programme. Power distribution was carefully configured using LED wall power cables with up to six 16A feeds, connected through 32A three-phase to 16A distribution, delivering consistent and reliable power for the displays.

The wider venue setup also featured four free-standing screens and six silver projection screens, supporting additional seminar spaces and ensuring audiences across multiple areas of The Warehouse had clear sightlines to presentation content.

Outside the venue, a DigiVan was deployed to provide mobile digital signage, helping to promote the event and engage visitors as they arrived on site.

Grand Technix managed the entire technical delivery for the project, including delivery, installation, dismantling, and collection, all scheduled around the event timetable. The team also provided experienced hardware engineers for the build and breakdown, as well as a stand-by engineer on site during the two days of the event to ensure everything ran smoothly.

With a reliable visual infrastructure in place, Mad//North was able to focus on what mattered most: delivering valuable insights, presentations, and discussions to its audience.
